Rafael has over 30 years of experience in the international financial markets, at investment banks including Morgan Stanley and Citigroup in New York. As a private equity investor, he has participated in transactions across the Middle East (Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Bahrain, Lebanon, Turkey, among others), Europe, and the Americas. His skill set includes structuring complex corporate finance transactions in international markets, including financing structures, trade finance operations, and capital and debt financing of cross-border transactions. He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey and an M.B.A. in Finance from Columbia University in New York.
